What makes our physical fitness program right for your child?

Physical Education Instruction: Each student participates in regular P.E. classes, which teach specific skill development and proper training methods.

Contract Activities: After academic classes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, students participate in enrichment activities called Contracts. These activities are developed at the request of students and vary from team sport activities, to fine arts development, to career planning. Last year's activities included: girls' soccer team, rock band, flag football, bowling, yoga, college prep/careers, tennis, golf, field archery, canoeing, horsemanship, instrumental practice, ultimate Frisbee, fencing, weight training, skit writing, crafts, RPG gaming and web authorizing, boys' soccer team, disc golf, karate and self defense, boys' basketball, roller skating, badminton, photography, field hockey, co-ed volleyball, prom decorations, biking, roller hockey, rocket building, cooking, swimming, and beach volleyball.

Aerobic Activities: Following Contracts classes, students participate in the aerobic activity of their choice to help encourage regular aerobic activity among our students. At the beginning and end of each school year, fitness testing is conducted, so that each student can see the results of regular aerobic activity. This testing paired with the skill development and training methods offered in P.E. classes help students set and reach healthy fitness goals. The aerobic activities offered last year were: fast walk on track, fast walk off campus, walk/run, slow jog, fast jog, CAAT program, step aerobics, swimming (in season), biking, soccer aerobics, long distance run, jump rope.

Angels/Devils: A year long spirited competition between the All Saints' teams, the Angels and the Devils, culminates in the Spring Field Days. During this time, points earned throughout the year in various events including academics, dramatic skits, sports, and minor Angel/Devil competitions, are tabulated to determine the year's winning team. Students compete in team sports, learning sportsmanship and teamwork, and in individual events, learning that every student is able to contribute points to his/her team.

Intramurals: Each year, students compete against local teams in such sports as soccer, volleyball, flag football, and basketball. These teams are optional and offer students the opportunity to compete as a school with other teams in the area. Depending on the student interest level, some teams are co-ed, and others are open to faculty members as well.
