An All Saints' education is rigorous. Students are prepared for the challenges of college life while enjoying the support of caring teachers,
staff, and friends. At All Saints', the student-teacher ratio is an amazingly low 8:1. This creates an intimate classroom environment where each
student's needs and questions are addressed. Individually designed curricula, academic assistance, English as a Second Language instruction, and
college counseling services enable students-even those who doubt their capabilities-to thrive.
How can our academics help your child?
Because of our small size, we are able to offer many student academic services which are a practical impossibility at larger schools.
Below are a few examples of what our small size can offer:
The Academic Support Program (ASP): The Academic Support Program is designed to help students become successful, responsible,
and independent learners. Individualized instruction in time management, organization, reading and writing skills, and note and test-taking strategies
will boost confidence as students discover their academic potential.
English as a Second Language (ESL): The English as a Second Language program allows international students with varying degrees of English
language proficiency to take an ESL class in lieu of a regular English class. While studying grammar, pronunciation, and written and oral expression,
students will learn more about the history, culture and traditions of the United States.
College Counseling: All Saints' College Counselor, Academic Dean, and interested faculty members will support students every step of the way, from taking national standardized tests like the PLAN, PSAT, SAT, and ACT, attending college fairs to narrow the field of choices, and making application, to applying for scholarships. Last year, All Saints' 20 seniors earned more than $180,000.00 in merit based scholarships from universities across the country. Our computer lab houses CollegeView, a state-of-the-art software program offering direct access to information about thousands of colleges across the country. With these resources at their fingertips, students will have a smooth transition to colleges such as Baylor, Emory, Belhaven, The University of the South (Sewanee), Rhodes, Tulane, Savannah College of Art and Design, Huntingdon, Louisiana State, Loyola, Memphis State, Millsaps, Mississippi College, Mississippi State, New York University, Spring Hill, Texas A&M, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and The Universities of Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Southern Mississippi, Texas, and more.
